Development of a communication gateway box that is used to acquire data from OBDII diagnostic port, repacking them on specific CAN frame messages.
These messages are then sent on vehicle CAN bus for third party ECU usage. (e.g. aftermarket cluster display)

Communication gateway box is used to acquire data from vehicle CAN bus, and drive electro-mechanical actuators via digital outputs.
Typical usage is to move car doors / trunk / sunroof (e.g. car seagull doors actuation).
